Physical Education

The Physical Education Department has 46 teachers presently, with 40 on campus teaching. Among all the teachers, 10 are associate professors,9 are lecturers and 14 are assistants. The office has one computer room, reference room and ground equipment room.

1. Courses

The department opens two-year physical education courses for undergraduates, specialized courses for freshmen and improved courses for sophomore: basketball, volleyball, football and Wushu for male students and basketball, volleyball, Wushu and gym for female students; one-year physical education course for specialized students.

2. Physical teaching

Teaching has always been put in primacy and besides instructing sports techniques to students, attention is also paid to fostering students' ideology and will development, thus achieving good effect in both teaching and educating. During recent years, this department has achieved prizes in college excellent teaching fruits, Shandong Provincial physical education and sanitation, national defense advanced collectivity. One teacher got the name of "Shandong Province excellent young physical education teacher", 10 teachers got the name of "Eastern agricultural college excellent physical education teacher" and 4 teachers got "Liu He" prize.
