Important Points You Should Know Before Applying Online

2.PayPal: PayPal is a secure, simple, and convenient way of paying. For those who have not used PayPal before, you can create an account on their website 3.Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants who are currently in China can do a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in CNY 4.Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants who are not in China can pay the application fee in US Dollars by a bank transfer 5.Western Union: For applicants who cannot use T/T or PayPal payments, SICAS recommends you to use Western Union (especially African applicants) Reminder:Please keep in mind that it is not until the payment has been confirmed will the applied university start for processing. In other words, universities will only start to process the applications which have been paied ) Application Qualification
Undergraduate Programs
1) Foreign citizens under 25 and in good health
2) Certificate of Graduation from senior high school
3) Certificate of HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Band 6 or above
Graduate Programs
Applicants for Master programs should have a Bachelor degree or equivalent academic background.
Applicants for Doctoral programs should have a Master degree or equivalent academic background.
Language skills requirements:
(Applicants should pass Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) band 6 .
For applicants who do not have adequate Chinese language skills but meet academic requirements of admission, intensive Chinese training courses are required in the first one or two semesters to help them pass HSK test.
For Doctoral Program applicants: If the English level is sufficient, the Chinese language requirement could be adjusted for some majors.
Visiting Student Program
General Visiting Students:
At least one year study at college or higher, HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Band Six or above.
Senior Visiting Students:
Application MaterialsMaster degree or higher, HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Band Six or above. Application form is prerequisite, and every university has its own version. SICAS will guide you step by step to fill the exact one when you click”Apply now” on the page of your favorite course. Be sure to prepare fully the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments in the application progress.
Application Materials
Undergraduate Programs
1) Photocopy of passport (pages with photo, visa or residence permit)
2) Three passport-sized photo (cap-free, 2-inch size)
3) Original or notarized photocopies of senior high school certificate and schooling records
4) Certificate of HSK Band 6 or the notarized photocopy
5) Certificate of expected graduation issued by senior high school (for applicants who will be graduating from senior high school in July)
6) Completed Letter of Recommendation from senior high school/institution
7) For applicants who are studying in a university, additional materials are required, such as schooling records, on-going study certificate and recommendation from the university
Supplementary materials shall be provided upon request.
1) Photocopy of passport（Scanned passport information）
2) Passport-sized photo
3) A notarized copy of the highest academic credential (high school diploma);
4) Notarized copies of official academic transcripts.
5) Notarized Physical Examination Record (valid for 6 months).
6) The students will take the original manuscript.
Note: form the year of 2008, the MBBS program for overseas’ students changed to 6-years program. We begin to enroll student since every July, we need you offer us formal documents and certification, Admission will be determined after the verification and appraisal of the application materials.
Master’s Degree Programs
1) Two passport-sized photo (cap-free, 2 inches)
2) Two photocopy of passport with personal information (ordinary passport)
3) The original or the notarized photocopies of Bachelor’s Degree diploma or graduation certificate or proof of education in academic institution(original and duplicated)
4) Academic transcript (original and duplicated)
5) HSK certificate and score report (unless a waiver is approved)
6) Two academic recommendation letters from scholars of associate professorship or higher
7) The application fee is RMB 600 (non-refundable).
8) Notarized Physical Examination Record
Note：The certificates provided should be the original documents in Chinese or in English, otherwise notarized translations in Chinese or English are required.
Doctoral Degree Program
1) Two passport-sized photo (cap-free, 2 inches)
2) Two photocopy of passport with personal information (ordinary passport)

5) Recommendation letters from two scholars of associate professorship or higher for applicants of Senior Visiting Students Program
