History and Culture (Tourism)

Located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, History & Culture School of Sichuan University grew out of the History Department (founded in 1896) of Sichuan University, the most prominent university in West China. In July 1998, the History Department of Sichuan University was renamed School of History & Culture, Sichuan University.

Right now, there are two departments, four institutes and a museum under the school of History & Culture:

Tourism School

Located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, Tourism School of Sichuan University grew out of the Tourism Department (founded in 1980s) of Sichuan University, the most prestigious university in West China. In July 1998, the Tourism Department of Sichuan University was renamed as Tourism School of Sichuan University.
