Life Science

The College of Life Sciences is one of the earliest departments founded in Sichuan University with a history of more than 80 years from the very beginning. Her subjects include the life science, the base of the modern nature science, and biotechnology which occupies the front line in modern high technology, as well as the application in agriculture, pharmaceutical industry, sanitation, and environment protection. The college undertakes the double tasks of training special talent of high rank for our nation and performing key scientific projects.

The college has more than 130 outstanding faculty members, including 21 professors and 41 associate professors. And our celebrated subject leaders are specially engaged academician Prof. Zhao Ermi, Prof. Luo Peng, Prof. Liang Houguo, Prof. Liu Shigui, Prof. Zhang Yizheng, Prof. Cheng Fang, Prof. Xiu Jiemei, and Prof. Yang Zhirong etc.
