 University Alumnus Selected as Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering

Chinese Academy of Engineering, one of China's leading academic organs, released its 2011 newly recruited academician list on December 8. Among the 54 academicians newly recruited was the University’s alumnus Professor Qiu Guanzhou. The University has sent its congratulation letter to Professor Qiu Guanzhou.
 
Professor Qiu Guanzhou graduated from Guangdong Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, one of the predecessors of the University in 1970s, and is currently working in Central South University.
