School of Clinical Medicine

School of clinical medical is the most large-scale sub-institute of Jining medical university which established in 1987. The specialty of clinical medicine was constructed in 1952. Now it has four specialties: Clinical Medicine, Clinical Medicine (combination of Chinese and Western medicine), Stomatology, and Medicine Phantom Study.
　　
School of clinical medical has 20 teaching and research sections and two clinical medicine skill centers and one stomatology skill center. Owing to the large scale, the advanced equipment and the standard management, experts from the Ministry of Education appraise the skill centers as the first-class all over the country. The school has 4 laboratories: diagnosing laboratory of the cardiovascular disease, the epidemic hemorrhagic fever laboratory, the neurology laboratory, the blood dilution research institute; It has 8 key disciplines: Cardiovascular disease studying diagnosing and treating center, the neurology, the nerve internal medicine department, the endocrinology, the breath internal medicine, the heart surgery, the image medicine, the function neurosurgery; In addition, there is 1 provincial level key laboratory: the laboratory of Cardiovascular disease diagnoses and treatment.
　　
The specialty of clinical medicine was determined as the one of reforms course of Shandong province in December, 1999. In October, 2005, it passed the evaluation by the experts from the Ministry of Education of Shandong Province, and now is the brand specialty of Jining medical university. In 2006 "Diagnostics" and " General remarks on Surgery” were evaluated as the refined curriculum, and the traditional Chinese medicine as the high quality curriculum of the university; in 2008, "Diagnostics" is evaluated as the provincial level high-quality curriculum.
　　
Now, school of clinical medical has 8 affiliated hospitals: the affiliated hospital of Jining medical college, the attached first people’s hospital of Jining, the attached Jinxiang people’s hospital, the attached Huxi hospital, the attached Tengzou central people’s hospital, the attached Rizhao People’s Hospital, the attached third people’s hospital of Jinan, the attached people’s hospital of Gaotang county. In addition, it have 26 undergraduate teaching and practice bases, 14 faculty teaching practices bases. They have provided the reliable safeguard for each specialty clinical teaching and the scientific research.
