Important Points You Should Know Before Applying Online

1.PayEase: It is a convenient, safe and easy online payment platform, supporting Master Card and VISA cards.
2.PayPal: PayPal is a secure, simple, and convenient way of paying. For those who have not used PayPal before, you can create an account on their website
3.Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants who are currently in China can do a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in CNY
4.Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants who are not in China can pay the application fee in US Dollars by a bank transfer
5.Western Union: For applicants who cannot use T/T or PayPal payments, SICAS recommends you to use Western Union (especially African applicants)
Reminder:Please keep in mind that it is not until the payment has been confirmed will the applied university start for processing. In other words, universities will only start to process the applications which have been paied )

Entry Requirement

Applicants should be in good physical and mental health.
Applicants should hold the certain diploma required and have already reached a certain level of Chinese proficiency.
 Undergraduates
Applicants should hold high school diploma or a form showing high school equivalency.
Master's Candidates
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree or a form showing college equivalency.
Doctoral Candidates
Applicants should hold a Master's degree or a form showing Master's equivalency.
4. Preparatory Chinese Program
Applicants should have finished sophomoric courses.
Advanced Chinese Program
Applicants should hold a Master's degree or a form showing Master's equivalency.
Chinese Language Program
Applicants should hold high school diploma or a form showing high school equivalency.
Enrollment for Regular Course Program
Long-term students: students who get enrolled for more than 6 months' duration. Long-term students may get enrolled at the end of February and August (they can also join in a class in the middle of the course). Students may join in preliminary, intermediate or advanced classes respectively after the placement test.
Short-term students: students who get enrolled for less than 6 months. According to students' requirements, the college may offer courses in Chinese Language and Culture, the content and schedule of which will be decided according to concrete conditions. Tutorial classes will be offered to those who will take part in the HSK exam.

Application Materials

Application form is prerequisite, and every university has its own version. SICAS will guide you step by step to fill the exact one when you click”Apply now” on the page of your favorite course.
Be sure to prepare fully the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments in the application progress.
Non-degree Chinese Language Programs
1）A copy of your high school diploma either in English or in Chinese.
2）Letter of Guarantee by the applicant’s guardian: the guardian should write out his/her name, nationality, occupation and address( if an organization acts as the guardian, reference to the organization should be made clear)
3）The applicant is requested to have a thorough physical check-up in accordance with the Physical Exam Record Form for Foreigners, which should be dated, with the doctor’s signature and with the applicant’s photo adhered to it, and officially sealed.
4）One passport-sized photo
5)Photocopy of valid passport (With photo, passport number &expiration date and name included)
6)Copy of high school transcript
