Important Points You Should Know Before Applying Online

1.PayEase: It is a convenient, safe and easy online payment platform, supporting Master Card and VISA cards.
2.PayPal: PayPal is a secure, simple, and convenient way of paying. For those who have not used PayPal before, you can create an account on their website
3.Bank Transfer (T/T) in China: Applicants who are currently in China can do a direct bank transfer to pay the application fee in CNY
4.Bank Transfer (T/T) Overseas: Applicants who are not in China can pay the application fee in US Dollars by a bank transfer
5.Western Union: For applicants who cannot use T/T or PayPal payments, SICAS recommends you to use Western Union (especially African applicants)
Reminder:Please keep in mind that it is not until the payment has been confirmed will the applied university start for processing. In other words, universities will only start to process the applications which have been paied )
Application Materials
Application form is prerequisite, and every university has its own version. SICAS will guide you step by step to fill the exact one when you click”Apply now” on the page of your favorite course.
Be sure to prepare fully the following documents before starting online application. You will be asked to upload attachments in the application progress.
Bachelor's Degree Program
1.Senior high school graduation certificate (in Chinese or English, the copies should be notarized)

3.HSK transcript/Certificate（copy and original）
4.Health certificates from a public hospital（needed when renewing visa）
5.Certificate of acquired honor ( copy and original)

Master's Degree Program
1.Application for foreigners wishing to study at University of Science and Technology Beijing
2.Graduation certificate and bachelor's degree diploma (the copies should be notarized)
3.Certified academic records
4. HSK score

7.Recommendation letters from two scholars of associate professor status or higher
Doctor's Degree Program

Chinese Lauguage Program
1. The signed hard copy of the completed Foreigner's Application Form
2. Latest academic diploma and academic record (photocopy)
3.A photocopy of the first page of the applicant’s passport (ordinary passport),
4.Applicants in china should also provide the copy of valid Visa or Residence Permit.
5.The applicants studying at another university in China must submit a Transfer Certificate
issued by the home university.
Summer Course
1. A photocopy of the applicant's passport;

Application Qualification
Bachelor's Degree Program
Applicant is under the age of 25, and is in good health, high-school graduate with good
marks. The HSK score should reach level 3 or above.
Master's Degree Program
Applicant is under the age of 35, and is in good health, preferably with a Bachelor’s Degree
or above. Certified academic records and 2 letters of recommendation by 2 associate
professors are required. The HSK score should reach level 6 or above.
Doctor's Degree Program
Applicant is under the age of 45, and is in good health, preferably with a Master’s degree or
above. Certified academic records and 2 letters of recommendation by 2 associate
professors are equired. The HSK score should reach level 6 or above.
Chinese Lauguage Program
The applicants need to have a formal education background at the high school level or
above, a good moral character, be aged 18-55 and in good health.
Brief Introduction of Program
Bachelor's Degree program
Students are required to complete the curriculum in four years and obtain the designated
number of credits. Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the
bachelor's degree, in accordance with the regulations of the Degree Committee.
Master's Degree Program
Students for the Master's degree are required to complete the curriculum in two or three
years, obtain the designated credits, and complete and defend the Master's thesis.
Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the Master's degree, in
accordance with the regulations of the Degree Committee.
Doctor's Degree Program
Students for the Doctor's degree are required to complete the curriculum in three or four
years, obtain the designated credits, conduct research, and complete and defend the
Doctor's thesis. Successful graduates will receive a graduation certificate along with the
Doctor's degree, in accordance with the regulations of the Degree Committee.
