Zhejiang University is recognized by WHO and the graduates of MBBS program are eligible to take the Medical Licensing Examinations held by the medical councils in different countries such as MCI, PMDC, USMLE, HPCSA, SCHS etc.

Fee Structure
1. Tuition: 48,000 Chinese Yuan(Approx US$ 7,000) /year for M.B.B.S
2. Accommodation: 9,000 Chinese Yuan (Approx US$1300)/year/person, for twin rooms;13,500 Chinese Yuan (Approx US$2000)/year/person, for single rooms
3. Residence permit: 400 Chinese Yuan(US$60)/year
4. Health examination: 400 Chinese Yuan(US$60)
* The fee for accommodation excludes electricity and water bill.
Study Duration
Internship
If you want to do internship in China, you need to pass the HSK 4 to contact with the patients and the tuition fee for this year is as normal RMB 37,800 per year. The internship will be carried out in the 6 Grade III Class A affiliated hospitals of Zhejiang University. These hospitals have a total capacity of over 7700 beds, 8780,000 emergency visits and 238,000 inpatients.
If you want to do the internship in your home country, there are no requirements on HSK level and no need to pay for the tuition fee.
And, students have to take the final examination on Theory Test and Clinical Evaluation in WHU before graduation.
Degree Awarded
After obtaining MBBS Degree, the graduates can apply to take the medical licensing examination in the medical council in order to get registered and practice medicine. According to the regulations in different countries, the students may need to do the degree accreditation first. A MBBS degree holder can find jobs in government as well as private hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities. Except this, one can also start his own clinic or pursue study for master’s degree.
Career
M.B.B.S. candidates must have attained, as a minimum, marks of over 70% aggregate in physics, chemistry, and biology (Zoology &Botany) at high school examinationa. They must also provide a high school diploma with transcript. Candidates should between 18 and 30 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission.

Graduation certificate of high school Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized. 4. Academic transcript of high school 5. HSK Certificate (No need for English-taught program) Level 3 or above 6. Health certificate(optional) Photocopy of physical examination record. |
