Tuition fee
International Exchange students are exempt from paying any tuition fees to The University of Nottingham ningbo, China, provided that they have been formally nominated to study at The University of Nottingham by their home university.
Study Abroad students pay a single flat fee, which covers tuition fees for a full-time course of study. Tuition fees for 2013/14 are as follows:

• Deposit will be refunded before you leave if there is no damage occur on the facilities in your room
• Actual amount of books fee will be calculated and settled before you leave
• Please note that you will be required to show evidence of your accommodation payment before you check in to the International Student Residence.
• * Campus E-card fee include: 25RMB for the card cost, 100RMB for canteen credit, 5RMB for cold water, 20RMB for hot water, 50RMB for electricity.

The cost of living in Ningbo is much cheaper than in many cities in the world. The cost of living in Ningbo for a single international student is estimated at 2500-3500 RMB per month including accommodation, meals, entertainment and other necessities depending on life style.

For TT transferring, please note that any foreign currency will automatically be transferred into RMB and the exchange rate and any bank charges will automatically base on the bank system on the time your money arrives.

The University will refund surplus if you pay more or recharge to you if you pay less when you arrive in the University.

Please indicate your full name on the remarks of the remittance for our identification, and keep your voucher/remittance together with you, in case the money you paid does not arrive to the account yet due to the different bank transferring when you arrive the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, then you can show it to finance dept as the evidence.

2. Pay cash to finance office (Room AB413) upon your arrival. Please bear in mind that overseas bank card can not withdraw such large amount of money at one time. So you have to bring enough cash with you if you want to pay cash.
