Why study NEU?

1. About the University

Northeastern University (NEU) was established in 1923, located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. It is one of China's high level universities designated for the state key construction of the "211 Project" and "985 Project".

2. English Taught Program

All courses (except Chinese language and Chinese culture) are given in English by qualified teachers or experts. Some of which are invited from renowned universities and enterprises of UK, USA, Ireland .So even if you know nothing about Chinese language, you have no difficulty in learning specific courses.

3. Collaborate with International IT Enterprises

Neusoft, incubated from Northeastern University in 1991, is now one of the biggest software enterprises in China. Through in-depth cooperation between SC and Neusoft, the students who join in the graduate program will stay in Neusoft at least half of one year in order to experience professional courses, project training and internship.

4. Low Expenses

The expenses of study in China are much less than in western countries. Total cost of one-year study for graduate program is about 45,000 RMB, undergraduate program is about 40,000 RMB, including tuition , accommodation, board fee, etc.

Accommodation:

1. Double room 25 RMB per person per day with bathroom, telephone, television, broadband, network, refrigerator, kitchen, water heater. (35 RMB if equipped with air conditioner).

2. In addition, students can live outside campus. In Shenyang City, the rent of a two-bedroom apartment is about 1000-2000/month.

Board fee: The expenses on food are about 800 RMB or more per month.

Entry Requirements

1. Applicants must be under the age of 25.

2. Applicants must be non-Chinese in good health.

3. Applicants must have high school certificate or will high school certificate by September 2016.

2. Passport-sized photo

A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.

3. Graduation certificate of high school

Graduation certificate should be in Chinese or English.If not, it should be translated into Chinese or English and be notarized.

Written in Chinese or in English

6. English proficiency test certificate

For example, IELTS or TOEFL, only for applicant whose native language is not English
