Founded in 1958, Wuhan Textile University (WTU) is famous for providing high quality, student-oriented education in a environment of multi-disciplinary integration with engineering, science, arts, economics and management disciplines and bright features in the field of textile engineering, fashion design, art design, and new media etc. The University has 20 colleges, and offers 63 undergraduate programs, 47 graduate programs, and 5 joint PHD programmes. The science research in the field of Textile Engineering, Dyeing & Finishing, Fashion Design and Art Design reach the highest level in the world. In the past 5 years, one project won the first prize of National Award for Science and Technology Progress, one project won the second prize of the State Technological Invention Award and two projects won the second prize of National Award for Science and Technology Progress in WTU.
