About Shenyang Jianzhu University
Shenyang Jianzhu University (SJZU) is the only comprehensive university in Liaoning Province which attaches its academic priority to Civil Engineering and Architecture as well as multi-disciplinary among engineering science, arts, administration, nature science, agronomy and law. With a total area of l million square meters and total building area of 440,000 square meters, the campus planning is full of man-oriented concepts and ideas of harmonious co-existence between nature and human beings. A 756-meter long corridor, which proclaims the longest in Asia, connects functional areas of teaching, laboratory, living and administration, and thus completes a beautiful picture of the campus.
Since 2004, SJZU students have got over 100 patterns annually, which topped the list of universities in Liaoning Province. In 2005 and 2008, SJZU was twice awarded the national “Outstanding Research Institution of Higher Education”. SJZU library has a rich collection of 1.22 million books. Journal of Shenyang Jianzhu University (Natural Science) is awarded by the Ministry of Education the First Prize of Excellent Scientific and Technical Journals in China.
