It establishes China Eye Industry Base which is successively establishes several high level research and teaching platforms, such as the National Training Center for Blindness Prevention and Treatment, the Good Clinical Practice Lab, China International Technology Cooperation Base, National and Local Joint Lab for Eye Industry, Sino-Euro Eye-Brain Medicine Center, Ophthalmic Stem Cell Clinical Application Study Center, Academician Workstation, Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base. It is the West Pacific Region Co-Chairman Unit of IAPB (International Agency for Prevention of Blindness) and Vice Director Unit of Blindness Prevention Guidance Group of National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China. It has academic collaboration, friendship relation and exchange faculty and student activities with Johns Hopkins University, University of London, Kyushu University, Eindhoven University of Technology, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Communication University of China, etc.
