Hubei University of Science and Technology is located in Xianning City, Hubei Province. Hubei University of Science and Technology (Xianning Medical College + Xianning Teachers College) is an old undergraduate university in Hubei Province and a central financial support institution. Xianning Medical College is one of the four major medical schools in Hubei Province (Hubei Medical College, Tongji Medical College, Xianning Medical College, Liyang Medical College). In February 2012, it was renamed Hubei University of Science and Technology. The school started higher education in 1965, undergraduate education in 1977, joint graduate education in 1995, and was approved as a master's degree in pharmacy in 2011 to conduct graduate education independently.
