Why Study in SWUPLAs of June 2014, the school has undertaken more than a thousand scientific research projects at various levels, including 146 national projects, and the "Research on the Legal Mechanism for the Reform and Development Achievements Sharing" project with Professor Li Changqi as its chief expert. (A level), a zero breakthrough in major national social science fund projects of Chongqing universities; 627 provincial and ministerial projects, 3 major research projects on philosophy and social sciences by the Ministry of Education; 353 horizontal projects, and 25 large-scale international cooperation projects . Since 2005, the school has received 74 provincial and ministerial awards at various levels, including 4 outstanding scientific research awards (humanities and social sciences) by the Ministry of Education, 22 national law textbooks and scientific research awards by the Ministry of Justice, and Chongqing Society. 40 outstanding scientific achievement awards, 3 outstanding Chinese law awards of the Chinese Law Society, 2 Young Teacher Awards (Social Sciences) of the Huo Yingdong Education Foundation, 1 outstanding award of the 5th Wu Yuzhang Humanities and Social Sciences Award, the first China Published one government prize, book prize nomination, and one first prize of the 2008 China Social Security Forum Theme Essay Award. School teachers have been invited to give lectures to leaders of the central and local party and government departments, and have been entrusted to participate in the legislative and revision of more than 150 laws and regulations. As of August 2018, in the past two years, the school has obtained a total of 297 vertical scientific research projects at the provincial or ministerial level or above. Among them, four major national projects were awarded in 2017, achieving a historic breakthrough and ranking first in Chongqing's universities. The National Social Science Fund has 61 projects, ranking first in Chongqing, and 31 national social science funds in law, ranking the forefront of similar universities. |
