About CSUFT
Central South University of Forestry and Technology (shorted as CSUFT) was
founded in 1958, it is located in Changsha, a historical and cultural city of
Hunan and the capital city of Hunan province, China. Over the past 60 years, the
management of CSUFT has formed a distinct characteristics of becoming an
influential University in Mainland China covering nine disciplines which are
science, engineering, agriculture, literature, economics, law, management,
education and art. It has post-doctoral research stations and the right to grant
doctoral degrees.

CSUFT has graduate schools
and 24 academic schools, 5 post-doctoral research stations, 6 First-Level
doctoral programmes, 18 First-Level master programmes and 15 categories of
master's degree courses, there
are 2 key disciplines

characteristics, 3 National key disciplines, 5 key disciplines of the
National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China and 76 undergraduate
programmes, including seven National management programmes, 1 National
comprehensive reform of experimentation programme, 4 National characteristics
programmes,2 National top-quality courses and 1 National Quality Resource Sharing
Course.
Buildings and Assets
CSUFT campus covers an
area of 1388 acres and
has a National forest park covering an area of more than 70,000 acres. The total area of CSUFT
buildings is 703,000 square meters, the total value of fixed assets is more than
1.78 billion RMB, the total value of teaching and scientific research equipment
is more than 389 million RMB, and the library has more than 3.03 million books.
Campus environment is elegant, trees to give pleasant shade, with more than 1100
kinds of plants and is a member of the International Botanical Garden
Conservation Union. The campus is equipped with various sports facilities, such
as fitness center, swimming pool, large gymnasium, football field, basketball
court, tennis court, table tennis hall, Chinese and Western restaurants, concert
halls, cafes, supermarkets and hospitals, etc.

CSUFT has nearly 30,000
students and 1581 full-time teachers (including more than 20 non-Chinese
teachers); Students from more than 30 countries such as Russia, Canada,
Morocco, Tunisia, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Korea, Japan, Philippines,
Bangladesh, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, France, Finland,
Germany, Spain, Italy, the United States, Mexico study and further study in
CSUFT.
Location
CSUFT is located in the
urban area of Changsha City, with convenient transportation and living
conditions. Setting off from the school, you can easily get anywhere in Changsha
by subway, bus, taxi, etc. There are many large shopping malls, banks,
supermarkets, shopping centers, gyms and so on around CSUFT.
