Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College (previously known as Beijing Overseas Students Training School; and Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College） was founded in 1950, it is run by the Overseas Chinese Office of the State Council of China. It is the only college of higher learning in China that specializes in offering classes in Chinese language and culture to overseas Chinese, including students from all the countries of the world. The College also promotes cultural exchanges and friendly relationships between China and other countries. The College is open to students who want to learn Chinese, offering different courses according to the different requirements of the students. The main courses that are available include: two-year Chinese language program for college learning; one to three-year language programs; Short-Term Chinese Language Classes (Summer And Winter Expeditions); and professional program for overseas teachers. Around 60,000 students and teachers, from more than 80 countries and districts have studied here and help the College win fame as a prestigious college in Chinese language training.

Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College is located in the center of Beijing, is only 5km from Tian’anmen Square. The College has a faculty of experienced teachers with a deep love of teaching Chinese and with an understanding of overseas Chinese students.
