Application Qualification

Undergraduate program

1.Applicants are expected to study hard, observe the Chinese laws and the regulations of BUAA and have the equivalent of a high school education.

2 Applicants are expected to have good scores and studied hard in high school.

3.Applicants should be under thirty five years old in general.

4.Applicants in the academic fields of Engineering Science and Management Science should have Chinese proficiency of HSK grade 5 or above; applicants in the academic fields of Social Science must have Chinese proficiency equal to HSK grade 6 or above.

5.Applicants should attend the entrance examination and meet the requirements of BUAA.

 

Master's Program

1.The Applicant should be expected to study hard, observe the laws and decrees of the Chinese government and abide by the regulations of BUAA.

2.In general the applicant should have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree or have the equivalent educational background of (a B.S.) degree.

3.The applicant should be forty years of age or under.

4.He/she must have a good command of English and have the ability to take courses in English or Chinese.

 

Doctoral program

1.The Applicant should be expected to study hard, observe the laws and decrees of the Chinese government and abide by the regulations of BUAA.

2.He/she must have a master's degree or have the equivalent educational background of a master's degree.

3.In general, the applicant should be forty-five years of age or under.

4.He/she must pass the entrance examination organized by the university.

5.He/she must be proficient in English and able to take courses in English or in Chinese.

 

Chinese Language Training Program

People who are between 15-60 years of age and are interested in learning Chinese will be eligible, if they are in good health and are willing to observe the laws and decrees of the People's Republic of China as well as the regulations of BUAA.

 

Application Materials

Undergraduate program

1.A Health certificate with a seal of a clinic or hospital by a medical doctor after a physical examination.

2.Copies of the high school diploma or certificate

3.The transcripts of academic records in high school.

4.Results of the applicant's HSK test

5.A copy of the passport identification page and four passport-sized photos

6.Application fee RMB 400yuan

7.One passport-sized photo

8.Photocopy of your passport;

Note: All the documents listed above should be provided in English or Chinese, or with a translation in English or Chinese.

 

Master's Program

1.One passport-sized photo;

2.Photocopy of your passport;

3.A Health certificate which bears the seal of clinic or hospital should be completed by a medical doctor after a physical examination;

4.Duplicated copies of a notarized bachelor's degree diploma or certificate and notarized school-certificate transcripts of complete academic records;

5.Two letters of recommendation from teachers or experts at or above the level of associate professor;

6.A certificate from the financial guarantor of the applicant.  

 

Doctoral program

1.One passport-sized photo;

2.Photocopy of your passport;

3.A Health certificate which bears the seal of clinic or hospital should be completed by a medical doctor after a physical examination;

Time for application and enrollment

Undergraduate Program:

Application Deadline: June 10th. 

Beginning Date:Early September

Master and Doctoral Programs:

Appication deadline:    Spring: Jan. 10          Autumn:May 30

Beginning Date:        Spring: March 10        Autumn:Sept. 10

 

Long Term Classes:

The application deadline for the spring semester is the end of December.

The class will begin at the end of February. The application deadline for the autumn semester is the end of June, and the class will begin at the end of August. But the application will be ended once all seats taken
