Qin Cuisine

Known as Qin Cuisine, food in Xi'an is the representative culinary achievement in the northwest China. In comparison
to other Chinese cuisines, it is outstanding in three aspects. Firstly, due to Xi'an's geographical location in the center 
of China, various kinds of materials deriving from both north and south China are adopted by Qin Cuisine. Second is
the special cooking skills of the local chefs, including Tun (deep-fry), Qiang (fry quickly in hot oil, then cook with sauce 
and water), Chao (stir-fry), Zheng (cook by use of steam), Dun (braise) and so on. Finally is its frequently use of salt, 
vinegar, capsicum and garlic, making the savory flavor of sour, spicy and fragrant.

Guan Tang Bao Zi (Dumpling Stuffed with Hot Gravy) 

 

Chinese name: 灌汤包子

Guan Tang Bao Zi is a kind of the small-sized steamed stuffed buns, containing stuffs and the hot gravy together. It is
one of the most well-known specialities of Xian, especially served by the Jia Brothers' Restaurant in the Moslem Street.

 

Feng Mi Liang Gao (Honey Cold Glutinous Rice) 

 

 

Chinese name: 蜂蜜凉糕 

A little different from the Honey Glutinous Rice, this snack is added sesame and rose jam as well as cut into small 
pieces when eating. This sweet and cold glutinous rice is a good snack in the hot summer. It can be found 
everywhere in the Moslem Street. Usually, the price is CNY3-CNY5 per box. 

 

Jin Xian You Ta (Crispy Fried Noodles) 

 

Chinese name: 金线油塔

It is a traditional snack in Xian originated from the Tang Dynasty, which is noted for its complicated cooking skill, 
delicious flavor and unique appearance. The steamed noodles are often eaten with some tasty sauces. Besides
of the local restaurants, it is easily for you to enjoy this snack in the city's streets or lanes at a very reasonable price.

This restaurant is one of Xian's most exclusive restaurants and also the only French restaurant surrounded with 
floor to ceiling glass windows in Xian. It has a good location for a fantastic and full view of the Bell Tower. You

are also luxurious VIP rooms in this restaurant where you can enjoy yourself comfortable. The Atmosphere there

authentic Indian restaurant with all kinds of Indian food, including Tomato Kasorba, Hot Sour Soup, Samosa, 
Veg Pakora, Tandoori Naan, Kasmire Naan, Chicken Tikka, Boti Kebab, Beef Curry, Indian Vegetable Curry, 
Mix Veg Pullav, Kashmiri Pullav, Sikarni, etc. Among those dishes, Tandoori Naan, Samosa and Chicken are
