Why UJS MBA?
The MBA supports promotion and progression within existing careers. It is also an opening to a change in future career direction. Our MBA will improve students’ effectiveness as a manager or leader and will transform their prospects for rising up the corporate ladder.
The course aims to develop individual strengths in leadership, creativity, entrepreneurship, self-knowledge and working with others in the contexts of stability, uncertainty and change. Students will also develop skills in the use of appropriate technology for analysis and communication.

Teaching Objective
Throughout the MBA program, you will be encouraged to learn through a range of teaching and learning methods. Formal contact sessions will involve a high degree of participation, with group activities continuing outside the classroom as you and your fellow students work together on case studies (some of which will involve employers providing the raw material) and exercises. You will be expected to use your work experience as an integral part of the learning process.
Coursework
Detailed knowledge in a selected topic will be assessed via a supervised dissertation.
Exams
There will be a combination of assessed program work, examinations, individual and group presentations for the taught modules.
Exit Skills
Students will have demonstrated the acquisition of almost all of the knowledge, understanding and skills in the core areas and the knowledge, understanding and skills required in the completion of the electives.

Employers look for leaders and achievers who understand moral and ethical correctness in the 'post-Eron' environment. This course not only teaches this as a specific subject but it is also pervasive through the course.

School of Management
The School of Management in Jiangsu University stems from the cadres training class which was established in November, 1982. Now, the school has five departments including Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Public Utilities Management, Information Management and Information System, and 6 research institution including SME Development Research Center, Economy and Management System Experimental Research Center, Management and Ethics Research Institute, Management Engineering Institute, Strategic Management Research Institute, Medical Insurance and Hospital Management Research Institute. Jiangsu University MBA Education Center and the only national SME Academy—Jiangsu University SME Academy are also established relying on this school.
The school was honored with "Chinese SME Project Research Training Camps" by the original State Economic and Trade Commission SME Department. "SME Development Research Center" was approved to be "Jiangsu SME Development Research Base", which is the first "Social Science Research Base" of Jiangsu Province. The school is possessed of a professional, well-structured, innovative teaching staff. The number of the faculty and the staff has reached more than 100, of which 10 people are doctoral supervisors, 28 people are master supervisors, over 40 people are professors and associate professors, 1 person is Jiangsu "333" Project trainee, 2 people are "Blue Project" higher education new-century academic leader of Jiangsu Province and young backbone teachers, 1 person is cross century research backbone of the original Chinese Ministry of Machine Building, 1 person is the young college teachers prizewinner in the 9th Huo Yingdong Foundation, 2 people are the members of the Higher Vocational Teaching Instruction Commission of Education Ministry. There are over 1600 full-time undergraduates on campus and over 1000 postgraduate students.
