Hubei University of Technology (HBUT)

Hubei University of Technology was originally established in 1952. In 1984, Hubei Institute of Light Industry merged with Hubei Academy of Agricultural Machinery to form Hubei Polytechnic University, and was renamed as Hubei University of Technology (HBUT) in 2004. HBUT is a key development university of Hubei Province, HBUT has been assessed as “a high level, standard-setting, and backbone university of the province’s higher education system” by the Party Committee and the Provincial Government of Hubei Province.
