Zhenjiang Export Processing Zone
Jiangsu Zhenjiang Export Processing Zone (EPZ) was founded on March , 2003 with the approval of the State Council. It is located in the eastern suburb of Zhenjiang, 28 km away from the downtown, 1.5 km away from Dagang Foreign Trade Port District and 15 km away from the entrance of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, Closely linked to the Customs Supervision Station and Zhenjiang-Dagang railway. The total plan area of the zone is 2.98km2. Jiangsu Zhenjiang Export Processing Zone is suitable for export-oriented enterprises, especially those enterprises whose orders come from aboard、those which require zero storage and some dragon-head enterprises which export products as well as warehousing enterprises offering services to the production of enterprises in the EPZ and transportation enterprises approved by the Customs to handle the import & export of cargoes in EPZ. The enterprises in the EPZ can enjoy the State preferential policies such as Tax Exemption for Import、Tax Refund for the Goods Exported to the EPZ、Bonded Imported Materials、Tax Exemption for Export、Foreign Currency Control 、Quota and Permit. Zhenjiang Export Processing Zone is treated as “outside of the customs although it’s in Chinese territory”. The Customs offers round-the-clock service with a new mode of "single declaration, single examination of documents and single inspection of cargoes". |
