There is no airport in Zhenjiang. You can  transfer from the airports in nearby Nanjing or Shanghai.

Upon Arrival in Shanghai

Shanghai is the only Chinese city owning two international airports - Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao International Airport. Both airports are equipped with very advanced facilities. Every day, about 1,000 flights travel through the two airports, linking Shanghai with many domestic and international cities. From the airport, you can take Airport Shuttle Bus to Shanghai downtown or nearby cities.

Shanghai Pudong International Airport is located in Pudong New District, about 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from Shanghai's downtown area and about 40 kilometers (24.9 miles) from Hongqiao International Airport.

Nanjing Lukou International Airport

 

Nanjing Lukou International Airport enjoys convenient transportation and serves as the key  airport of China. It was built in February, 1995 and put into service on July 1, 1997. The terminal measures 13.2 square meters (16 square yards), with a 44.7 square meters (53 square yards) parking apron.  The runway, on the other hand, measures 3,600 -meter-long (3,937-yard-long). As an alternate airport to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport, it now services to 45 domestic cities and 12 international cities, including Hong Kong, Macau, Bangkok, Singapore and Seoul.

Almost all the trains running along the Shanghai -Nanjing rail line stop at the Zhenjiang Railway Station. There are also trains from Zhenjiang to Shanghai, Tianjin and Wenzhou. The station is located on Zhongshan Xilu, telephone number +86 0511 535 1222

Trains Schedules & Fares from Beijing to Zhenjiang

Zhenjiang passenger transportation center: the main bus station in zhenjiang, most of the long-distance bus and crack are from this station.

Sent to Shanghai every hour a train, the first class at 7:30 last 17:00, takes about 2 hours.

Suzhou, wuxi, changzhou every hour on the water. Nanjing water start every 20 minutes, the last issued instructed, 1-1.5 hours' drive to.

The special line of jurong every 20 minutes, at 6:30 the last and the first class. In addition, every day there are sent to hangzhou, ningbo to crack.

By Bus

Zhenjiang has an efficient network of buses. Bus ticket prices vary from 1 yuan to 2 yuan. There are also five tourist lines that connect to all of the tourist attractions. 

Most of the lines  end the operation at  22:00.

By Taxi

Taxi fare in Zhenjiang:  8 yuan / 3 kilometers, add 1 yuan fuel surcharge, 3 km after the price is 1.60 yuan per kilometer, more than 4 km 2.40 yuan per kilometer.
