Ocean University of China (OUC) Officially Opens for Online Application on SICAS

Located in Qingdao, a renowned summer resort and an attractive historic tourist city of scenic beauty and temperate climate, Ocean University of China(OUC), a top-level comprehensive universities in the list of “Project 985” and “Project 211”, has officially joined SICAS and opened for online admission to overseas students.

With advanced teaching conditions and complete facilities, OUC, early in 1960, was renowned as one of the 13 “key” comprehensive universities in China by the Central Government and since 2001, with its strength in oceanography and fisheries science, OUC was ranked first among the marine-related institutions by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. OUC has begun to accept international students since 1950s, and now there are over 1200 international students from different countries.

OUC offers non-degree programs and degree programs for International students.

The non-degree programs include Chinese Language Programs and Chinese Business Program in English. Aside from this, OUC offers high-quality degree programs, especially the master’s and doctoral program in which almost all the course could be taught both in English and Chnese, among them, the English-taught Master of International Business (MIB) and Marine disciplines is high-praised and attractive to students all over the world. Bachelors programs currently are taught in Chinese, but OUC is always ready to open the English course as long as the number of applicants is up to 10 for one program.
