You Are Not Alone in China
Editor's note: Abel, a boy coming from Ethiopia, is going to study Architecture in Ningbo University. Everything in China was unfamiliar to Abel and the language barrier strengthened such helplessness. Alex picked up Abel at the railway station and helped him carry the luggage. He stayed at the hotel where Alex arranged a room for him in advance.
On the second day, they went to International Student Center to get enrolled in the university. Considering that Abel was unfamiliar with this new environment, Alex showed him around in the campus. He also took Abel to the shopping mall in the downtown center where he could spent his weekends and hang out with his friends.
