Belt and Road Master Program Scholarship 2019 Available in Changchun University of Science and Technology
Changchun University of Science and Technology now offers Belt and Road Scholarships for international students in 2019 March intake Master programs.

Fee Structure for master programs:
Tuition: 22000 RMB per year
Accommodation Fee: 9600 RMB per year(Double Room); 16800 RMB per year(Single Room)
Accommodation Deposit: 500 RMB
Insurance Fee: 800 RMB per year
Registration Fee: 400 RMB
Scholarship Type:
A waiver of tuition fee for the first year and half-tuition fee for the second year, 33,000 RMB in total.
Original Tuition:
1st year: 22,000 RMB
2nd year: 22,000 RMB
Tuition after scholarship deduction:
1st year: 0 RMB
2nd year: 11,000 RMB
Quota:
20 for each major.
Eligible Candidates:
International students who apply for the above program of Changchun University of Science and Technology through SICAS.

Application Requirements:
-be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health;
-be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs;
-have competitive academic records: Average academic achievement score must be 70% above of full mark;
-obtain IELTS 5.5. Minimum score for TOEFL (IBT) is 72. 200 are for TOEFL (CBT), or 533 for TOEFL (PBT), or any proof of English as working language during university study , except for English native speakers or applicant whose medium of instruction during undergraduate level was English.
-be not a holder of other Chinese scholarships.
Application Materials:
a. Application Form (in Chinese or English);
b. Passport copy;
c. Bachelor Degree Certificate Copy (in Chinese or English);
d. Bachelor Degree Transcript Copy (in Chinese or English);
e. A Study Plan or Research Proposal in Chinese or English with a minimum of 800 words.
f. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors.
g. Academic article or academic achievement (if any);
h. English proficiency test certificate.
i. Foreigner Physical Examination Form
Application Procedure:
1. Apply for the above program of Changchun University of Science and Technology through SICAS.
2. Excellent applicants will be recommended to Changchun University of Science and Technology as qualified scholarship candidates.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The scholarship quotas are distributed by the relevant department of the university.
2. Your scholarship application documents will be reviewed by SICAS helpful and efficient staff members, and then those outstanding applicants will be recommended to the university.
3. Whether or not you're able to achieve the scholarship will be determined by the relevant department of SICAS and the university on the basis of your academic merits as well as your recommendation letters.
4. You are not eligible for the application of any other scholarships in case you've already been a recipient of this scholarship.
5. SICAS reserves the final right of enforcing and explaining the detailed rules of implementation.
6. The scholarship awardee should be in accordance with the time for check-in, registration and payment procedures, otherwise, the offer will be waived automatically.7. For management and safety purpose, the scholarship awardee should live in the school’s student dormitory, or the IEEC will suspend or cancel the scholarship.
8. Scholarship awardees must be reviewed at the end of every semester for their academic performance, their attendance records, and their personal conduct. If the recipients of the Scholarship fail in a class, or miss class over 30 times (reasons include sick leave, personal leave and absenteeism), or fail to participate the examination, or cheat in the examinations, or have been imposed of a punishment of warning or above, they will not be able to receive the scholarship in the next semester. The recipients passing the review shall continue to have their Scholarship in the next semester.
