Latest Progress of the Return of Malaysian students to China

Good news for Malaysian Students back to China.

For old Malaysian students, they can holding valid Chinese residence permits for study are allowed to enter China from August 24.

For new Malaysian students of year 2022 intake, they need to provide the following documents to apply for study visa directly to the China visa application service center from toady (August 20,2022)

1. hard copy and scan pay of admission letter

2. hard copy and scan pay JW202 form or JW201 form

3. Certificate of approval to return to school

Following is details published by Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia

"The Chinese government attaches high importance to the return of foreign students to China. The responsible departments of China and Malaysia have been working closely with each other on the return of Malaysian students to China and have made some progress.

In accordance with the latest arrangement, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia will accept visa applications from foreign students receiving long-term academic education in China from now on.

Besides, foreign students holding valid Chinese residence permits for study are allowed to enter China from August 24.

Relevant personnel are suggested to pay attention to the latest notices released on the embassy website and related platforms."
