1. RMB Deposit card issued by domestic banks (UnionPay card)


Validity: Generally 10 years.
Scope of use: Domestic savings cards can also be used in foreign countries, some national or regional bank ATMs can directly use UnionPay card to withdraw local currency, some merchants can support UnionPay card consumption, and some Chinese merchants support Alipay or wechat payment (can bind domestic savings cards or credit cards).
Note:
1) Before going abroad, check your bank card to make sure that the card is valid during the study abroad so as not to be unable to use it.
2) The bound mobile phone number needs to open international roaming service and can receive SMS verification code.
2. Foreign currency credit cards issued by domestic banks (Visa/MasterCard/American Express)


Validity: Generally 3-5 years.
Avoid the pit: Here is a pit, many domestic banks issued all-currency credit cards are actually settled in the US dollar, such as China Merchants Bank's all-currency. If it is not used in the United States, the purchase is first settled in local currency and then converted into U.S. dollars, resulting in a 1.5% foreign exchange fee. Although some bank credit card brochures will say that you can avoid currency conversion fees, but pay attention to whether its internal exchange rate is worse than the market rate. Icbc's full currency is really full currency, but their home limit is relatively low.

1) You can apply for two full-currency credit cards of different card organizations, such as visa and MasterCard.
