These African Leaders Post "Thank you" To China

In the morning of September 5, the opening ceremony of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. On the occasion of the summit, African leaders praised China-Africa cooperation on social media platforms and thanked FOCAC for providing a valuable platform for exchanges and cooperation between countries.

Leaders of many countries praised the positive significance of FOCAC in promoting exchanges and cooperation. President Masisi of Botswana said in a post on the social media platform account that Masisi is grateful for Botswana's opportunity to participate in the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

Masisi stressed that FOCAC is a valuable platform for African countries, including Botswana, to consult, exchange views and share values.

Sierra Leone President Biao said that over the years, FOCAC has created opportunities for deepening China-Africa solidarity and cooperation. Bio said he looks forward to a successful summit.

Kenyan President Ruto also said that the summit provides an opportunity for Africa to strengthen its partnership with China.

Ruto also mentioned that over the years, China has proved to be a true development partner and has greatly helped Kenya to upgrade its infrastructure.

Other leaders of many countries hope to take this opportunity to deepen the cooperation with China over the years and seize new opportunities.

The official account of the South African Presidency also wrote during the summit that China is now South Africa's largest trading partner, and South Africa and China have vibrant, diversified and growing economies that can provide rich opportunities for businesses looking to explore new markets.

Namibian President Mbemba said in a document that he looks forward to conducting exchanges with African countries and China at the summit, and establishing mutually beneficial partnerships to benefit the people of all countries.

Half a century ago, in the face of its own economic difficulties, China made great efforts to assist the construction of the Tazara Railway, which has written an unforgettable story of China-Africa friendship. Zambian President Hichilema issued a document referring to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on the TAzara Activation Project, saying that upgrading this strategic railway line will create jobs and enhance regional trade and connectivity. He also expressed gratitude to China, "Thank you for your commitment!"
